DIY mayhem
we got back from another successful crit late on wednesday night, we raced in colne and stacked 2 guys on the podium, simon won with gordy 3rd, and woke up the next day pretty wrecked after a late night of driving.
so there wasnt really much to do, and it was pissing down outside, so me and jimmy got to work doing some diy on his bathroom. it was great, and we made a hell of a mess. jimmy did most of the hammering, and pulling the tiles off the wall, i pretty much took a back seat and dished out a few hints and directions-like “hit that bit there and see whats under it” and other great advice like “yeah i probably wouldnt have hit that bit” and “just hit it harder it’ll come off”
i took photos throughout and here we go
this is jimmy starting the destruction. if your from health and safety i dont want to hear from you about not having safety glasses and a hard hat. we did it old school, a claw hammer, bare feet and shorts. we also closed our eyes like jimmy is doing here if the impact was going to be big. perfectly safe

we found a box inside a box in the roof!!! how exciting
i sent jimmy up higher into the roof to see what was going on, again, health and safety leave us alone. he was perfectly balanced here on a heated towel rail with the other foot on the side of the shower door

and this is what was in the box inside a box in the roof, a massive lead water storage tank. brilliant!!!
i think the roof and pipes were probably covered in asbestos, but thats nothing a couple of vitamin C tablets cant fix.

I do have one Safety Tip. You guys need a bigger hammer.
I think this is the logical outcome of free health care.
Just chew on the lead,save the vit c for some REALLY NASTY ILLNESS…anyway we all know that a couple of vit c are no good, half the tube does the trick.
